Experience the highlights of the Romsdal region on this scenic excursion combining outstanding landscapes, a two-course lunch of local ingredients, and one of Norway's most beautiful railway journeys.
Visit the iconic Troll Wall, Europe's tallest vertical rock face, and travel through the impressive Romsdal Valley surrounded by towering peaks and waterfalls.
Cross the fjord by public ferry to Åndalsnes, Norway's mountaineering capital. Here, you'll board the Romsdalen Gondola, Norway's longest cable car, which takes you to the top of Mount Nesaksla at 2,560 feet (708 m) above sea level.
Sit down to a lovely two-course lunch at a local restaurant.
Your day out also includes a journey on the famous Rauma Railway, considered one of the most scenic train rides in Norway. You'll soon see why, as it offers spectacular views of dramatic mountains and wild landscapes.
Conclude your tour with a ferry ride back to Molde and the ship.
Notes:
Tour consists mainly of sightseeing from the transportation (coach, ferry and train). Stops (if any) are brief, and participants can remain on the transportation, except at lunchtime. Participants must be able to climb a few steps unassisted to board the transportation. Tour sequence may vary. The tour duration is approximate and may differ depending on the train/ferry departures. Children under the age of 3 must be secured in a child's car seat on the transportation. These are not available through the tour operator; you must bring your own from home. However, as most of the tour time is spent on the transportation, it is not advisable for children.
