Transfer by coach to Rome. Meet your guide in Rome and set out on a walking tour of the city's highlights.
At St Peter's Square in the Vatican, you'll have an exterior view of St Peter's Basilica. Enjoy free time to take photos and purchase an Italian gelato (at your own expense).
Walk to Castel Sant Angelo, crossing the River Tiber to reach Piazza Navona. Wander along Via dei Coronari, famous for its little shops full of art and antiques. See the Pantheon from the outside and visit the Trevi Fountain. Toss a coin in -- according to tradition, this will ensure your return to Rome.
Taste two different types of pizza from a nearby vendor. Pass Venice Square and glimpse the ruins of the Roman Forum -- once the heart of the ancient city. At a local restaurant, savor a wine-tasting session accompanied by Italian charcuterie.
View the Colosseum from the outside, with time to snap some excellent photos before returning to the ship by coach.

Bring bottled water. Ongoing restoration and/or maintenance work may be underway at any venue during your visit.
In anticipation of the Jubilee Year 2025, Italy, and especially Rome, will see a significant influx of pilgrims and tourists. Please be aware that popular sights are expected to be busier than usual. As a result, our tours may experience crowding and last-minute changes or closures. This could affect inside visits, routes traveled, and the views you will experience. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this unique and vibrant time.
