Visit the Po Nagar Cham Towers -- one of the few remaining testaments to the ancient Cham civilization. These were built between the 7th and 12th centuries. Today, both Chinese and Vietnamese Buddhists come to Po Nagar to pray and make offerings according to their beliefs. Be sure to snap a photo from the Cham Towers or nearby Xom Bong Bridge of the abundant, brightly painted blue and red fishing boats moored in the shallow Nha Trang Harbor.
Continue by coach to Long Son Pagoda, which was founded in the late 19th century and has been rebuilt several times since. It is now home to fewer than ten monks. The entrance and roofs are decorated with mosaic dragons made of glass and ceramic tile. From the pagoda, you will have the chance to climb the 152 stone steps leading to the giant white Buddha seated on a lotus blossom. You'll have superb views of the whole city from the platforms surrounding the Buddha.
In complete contrast, enjoy a photo stop at Nha Trang Gothic Cathedral -- a huge stone church dating from the early 20th century.
At Dam Market, you'll find a giant two-story market complex that can accommodate up to 2,000 shoppers.
