Transfer from the pier to Maehama Beach, a sunny four-mile stretch of shoreline that has been voted one of the best beaches in Japan. The beach offers delightful views of Kurima Island and the 5,544-foot-long Kurima Ohashi bridge.
Upon arrival, you will find ample amenities. Relax and unwind, take a dip in the inviting waters, or visit the rental shop where you’ll find water skis, scuba diving and banana boat rides (at your own expense). When hunger strikes, you can purchase tasty snacks and beverages at the restaurants and concessions stands.
After approximately 3 hours relaxing on the sand, return to the pier.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, a cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Tour operates weather permitting. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Bring local currency, as many vendors do not accept credit cards or US dollars. There are no hot water showers, chairs or umbrellas available at Maehama Beach.
