This tour is available only to guests whose cruise starts in San Antonio who are staying at the Sheraton Santiago Hotel and Convention Center the night before embarkation.
This tour picks you up at the Sheraton Santiago Hotel for a panoramic drive through Santiago — the vibrant capital of Chile. As you traverse the city, marvel at the exquisite 19th-century neo-Classical architecture that defines the downtown core alongside Art Deco and neo-Gothic gems. Modern landmarks include the illustrious Presidential Palace and the breathtaking cathedral located in the Plaza de Armas — the heart of Santiago.
Head out of town to the Casablanca Valley — one of Chile's newest and most promising viticulture regions. With a perfect blend of warm climate, fertile soil, and resilient vines, this valley has been cultivating fine wines since 1875. Its climate and soil have more recently been recognized for their similarity to California's renowned Napa and Sonoma Valleys. At a distinguished winery, knowledgeable staff guide you through the intricate winemaking process and encourage you to savor a delightful tasting of their exquisite wines.
The tour drop-off point is at the ship at the pier in San Antonio in time for embarkation.
