This tour is available only to guests flying into Athens on embarkation day with flights arriving before 10am.
This convenient transfer/tour combination picks you up at the airport in Athens and takes you on a tour of the marvelous city of Athens; then, you'll transfer to the ship at Piraeus in time for embarkation.
Walking up a winding path towards the Acropolis, you will pass through the Propylaea and see the Erechtheum temple and the Porch of the Caryatids in the distance. View the Parthenon, dedicated to Athena — the patron goddess of Athens. Reinforced by the human hands, the natural fortress of the Acropolis stands 230 feet above the city. You cannot help but be in awe of the view below.
On a panoramic drive through the city, some highlights include Constitution Square, the Royal Palace, where the Evzones keep watch in their traditional costumes, the Temple of Zeus and the Olympic Stadium.

This adjustment is due to changes in entrance and arrival times, as well as to allow for sufficient time to load luggage. As a reminder, this tour is only available to embarking guests arriving at the airport the morning of embarkation day prior to 10:00am or arriving earlier and who will make their way to the airport on embarkation morning; there will be no additional pick-ups from hotels or other stops. To ensure a seamless experience, we kindly ask that you allow ample time to reach the meeting point in the morning, as the tour will not be able to wait for individual guests. There may be a wait. If you have already purchased a transfer to the ship with your cruise booking, a refund will be processed on board the ship, as this excursion automatically includes a transfer. This tour IS NOT available to guests staying at pre-cruise hotels in Athens before embarkation day. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Tour requires considerable walking. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, steep inclines, gravel, grass, and many steps. The marble steps are slippery, especially when it rains. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Expect dense crowding at the site. Tour must be booked a minimum of four calendar days prior to your cruise embarkation date.
