For those who prefer to sightsee on their own, this tour is for you.
Take a 20-minute transfer on an air-conditioned bus to central park in downtown Puerta Plata. Enjoy one hour to explore the historical center, cathedral and shopping area on your own. The Malecon (boulevard), where there are many bars and restaurants just a five-minute walk from town.
Next, a 10-minute transfer brings you to the beach, where you'll have two hours to enjoy the beach and the property's facilities. A beach chair is included. A restaurant is available to purchase snacks.
