This half-day panoramic tour gives you the chance to experience some of Prince Edward Island’s most iconic sights in a relaxed and scenic way. Your journey begins with a drive west across the island toward the Confederation Bridge, an extraordinary eight-mile structure that connects Prince Edward Island to mainland Canada. Completed in 1997, it is the longest bridge in the country and the world’s longest crossing over icy waters. You will step off the coach for a photo stop at ground level, where you can fully appreciate the scale and beauty of this engineering achievement.
From there, you will continue to Shop & Play, the largest and most entertaining gift shop on the East Coast. During your visit, you can browse a wide selection of local products, apparel, exclusive photography, and Anne of Green Gables–themed items. Whether you are looking for souvenirs or simply want to explore, there is plenty to enjoy.
Your tour then continues through more picturesque island scenery as you make your way to the Victoria Range Light, located in a charming coastal community. Here, you will have time to take photos and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before beginning the scenic drive back to Charlottetown.
Notes:
The experience includes approximately one hour of travel to the first stop, a brief photo break, a forty-five-minute visit at Shop & Play, another short drive to the lighthouse for additional photos, and a final return drive to the port. Guests must be able to board the motorcoaches with little to no assistance. Comfortable walking shoes is recommended.
