This panoramic sightseeing tour is designed to be enjoyed primarily from the perspective offered by your comfortable motorcoach seat.
You'll begin with a drive through Hakodate city itself; then, the coach will head up to the viewpoint on Mt Hakodate. From the top, you can look back over the Hakodate Peninsula, with panoramic vistas of the city, the ocean and the horizon.
Drive past the Kanemori Red-Brick Warehouse District, remodeled in 1988 as part of a waterfront redevelopment project with a theme of combining the old and the new. Return to the ship, just a 30-minute drive away.
Notes:
Tour consists mainly of sightseeing from the transportation. Stops (if any) are brief, and participants can remain on the transportation. Participants must be able to climb a few steps unassisted to board the transportation. Weather and atmospheric conditions vary; no guarantee is offered with regard to visibility or views on any particular day. There are some steps at the Mt Hakodate observatory. Unfamiliar accents can be challenging; feel free to ask your guide to repeat or elaborate on information, and to speak more slowly so you can fully comprehend and converse.
