Embark on a captivating half-day panoramic drive through Aomori, beginning with a scenic drive from the port and passing through lush fields and rolling hills.
You will visit the renowned Tsugaru Kanayama-yaki pottery studio. Here, you'll discover traditional pottery techniques and browse for handcrafted items that make fantastic souvenirs.
Next, experience the elegance of Tsurunomaihashi Bridge — Japan's longest wooden triple-arched bridge — offering stunning views of Lake Tsugaru Fujimi and Mount Iwaki.
Apple Hill Namioka, which you will encounter en route, is a roadside stand selling Aomori's famous apples. Sample apple-based products here, including jams, juices, and pies, and relax in the café surrounded by nature.
Notes:
Travel time to Goshogawara city is approximately 75 minutes each way. Terrain includes uneven, bare ground and a few steps. Tsurunomaihashi Bridge is undergoing long-term renovation; views may be obscured and the bridge may be closed to foot traffic. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Weather and atmospheric conditions vary; no guarantee is offered with regard to visibility or views on any particular day. Bring local currency or credit cards, as most vendors do not accept US dollars. Apple Hill Namioka may close without prior notice. Tour sequence may vary. Unfamiliar accents can be challenging; feel free to ask your guide to repeat or elaborate on information, and to speak more slowly so you can fully comprehend and converse.
