Here's an unforgettable excursion aboard a typical Brazilian schooner. Sail towards the Lagoa Azul (Blue Lagoon), renowned for its unspoiled natural environment. The captain will drop anchor between two reef islands that form a lagoon for swimming or snorkeling (snorkel and mask provided). At Fora Beach, step off the boat at the pier and enjoy free time to swim, walk or just relax on the sand fringed by lush tropical forest.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. You may wish to ask the ship to provide a boxed lunch for you (advance notice required). Restrooms are available for customers at the bars and restaurants at Fora Beach. Carry Brazilian currency if wishing to purchase drinks at the beach. Tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extreme weather or unsuitable conditions.
