Experience the glory of the Italian Riviera during this memorable drive along the Sorrento coast, and a visit to a farm in the Sorrentine hills.
Depart Sorrento for a scenic drive along a portion of the beautiful coastline and pass the village of Santa Agata. The narrow road winds alongside of rocky seaside cliffs and offers breathtaking views of the Italian Riviera. Along the way, you will marvel at the rocks rising from the water and see small boats bobbing in sheltered sandy below. You'll stop briefly in the hills overlooking the lovely Sorrento coast.
On the panoramic coastal ride back to Sorrento, you will pause at a farm in the Sorrentine Hills to take in the spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples. This agricultural farm produces oranges, lemons, olives and wine using equipment and methods dating back to the late 18th century.
Enjoy a light snack consisting of bruschetta and mozzarella, accompanied by a glass of wine or water, and watch a demonstration of how to prepare mozzarella cheese.
Before returning to Sorrento, you'll stop in town at the Iannuzzi store. Guests who wish to stay in town to shop or explore on their own are welcome to do so, but must return to the ship on their own.
