Join this enchanting adventure for a comfortable, air-conditioned van for a drive up to the breathtaking Ko'olau Mountains, towering 1,050 feet above Honolulu. Take in a panoramic view of Oahu's stunning south shore, iconic Waikiki, the lush Manoa Valley, the bustling city of Honolulu, and in the distance, historic Pearl Harbor and the majestic Waianae mountain range.
The ancient volcanic Puowaina landform, 75,000 to 100,000 years old, is more famously known as Punchbowl Crater. It is home to the solemn National Cemetery of the Pacific — the final resting place of more than 60,000 American servicemen and -women. The moving Court of Honor is dedicated to 26,280 soldiers who remain missing in action.
Wander through the serene Liliuokalani Botanical Gardens — a beautiful seven-acre oasis featuring lush shade trees, the soothing sounds of Nu?uanu Stream, and the picturesque Waikahalulu Waterfall. Once frequented by Queen Liliuokalani, Hawaii's last monarch, the gardens are a chance to learn about her remarkable life and her musical legacy, including her famed composition Aloha Oe. Pause to admire the native plantings that enrich the garden's beauty.
On the drive back to the ship, watch for the grand Iolani Palace — the only royal palace in the United States — where you'll hear stories about its illustrious history and the lives of King David Kalakaua and his sister Queen Lili?uokalani.

Minimum age is 5 years. Tour requires 30-40 minutes of walking over approximately half a mile. Mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, etc) cannot be accommodated on the transportation. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Tour does not operate on Sundays. Bring a rain jacket.
