This great adventure includes a private boat exclusively for your party, traveling on one of Panama's most iconic waterways, followed by time in a private van, accompanied by a guide and driver, in either Panama City or Colón.
Enjoy the comfort of private round-trip van transportation from the ship to Gamboa Marina. From there, set out on a two-hour boat ride on Gatún Lake led by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide. Gatún Lake is a vital part of the Panama Canal, teeming with wildlife, lush rainforest, and stunning scenery. As you cruise its calm waters, keep an eye out for monkeys, crocodiles, sloths, exotic birds, and perhaps ships navigating the canal.
Next, enjoy some time to tailor the rest of your day to your interests. Customize your time with the van to go beyond the ordinary and explore from the comfort and privacy of your own vehicle.

Private vans are ordered per vehicle (not per person), so only one person in the party needs to order the vehicle. Your visit includes either Colón or Panama City due to the required distance to travel to meet the ship in Colón. Travel time from Gatún Lake to Gamboa Marina and Panama City to Colón is approximately 90 minutes each way. Time in Panama City or Colón will be approximately three hours, depending on traffic conditions. The price shown is the total cost for the vehicle, boat tour, driver and English-speaking guide. Entrance fees for attractions are not included. At many destinations, the number of vehicles available is extremely limited, so guests are encouraged to secure their private vehicle reservations as early as possible. Private vehicle reservations are non-refundable if canceled within three days prior to the start of your cruise. Private vehicle bookings made on board the ship are non-refundable once confirmed. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. This excursion departs from Gatún Lake and ends in Colón, where you will rejoin the ship. Tour departure times may vary due to local authority clearance and will be announced on board the ship. The Panama Canal Authority assigns specific time slots for the transit of each vessel transiting the locks; the arrival of the ship in Colón may be delayed. Be prepared for such a delay by bringing any needed medication or essential items on tour. Facilities are available at the terminal in Colón while you are waiting for the ship's arrival.
