Cable Beach is one of the world’s most beautiful, untouched beaches and one of Broome’s most beloved assets. Named for the telephone cable that was laid in 1889 connecting Broome with Java, it is 13 miles of pristine white sand and sensational blue waters.
A 60-minute sunset camel ride along this strip of sand is the quintessential, iconic local activity. Don’t miss it. Take in stunning sunset vistas of sea, sky and sand from atop your friendly “ship of the desert.”
High-quality professional photographs of your experience are available for purchase after the ride, as well as a selection of souvenirs.
Notes:
The ride is suitable for all ages. Each camel carries two riders. Maximum weight per guest is 200 lbs. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Tour does not operate on holidays.
