The Territorial Collectivity of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon is a group of small French islands in the North Atlantic Ocean, just 16 miles south of the Canadian province of Labrador & Newfoundland.
Board transportation for an approximately 1¼-hour panoramic drive through Saint-Pierre. Your guide will provide in-depth commentary on the town and the other islands.
Take in the town's unique architecture, crafted to suit the harsh weather that winter brings, and meet the people who embody the true spirit of France.
The town of Saint-Pierre is the seat of the colonial government and works hard to maintain its genuinely French heritage.
Notes:
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Tour consists mainly of sightseeing from the transportation. Stops (if any) are brief, and participants can remain on the transportation. Participants must be able to climb a few steps unassisted to board the transportation.
