A 2½-hour scenic panoramic drive to charming Kampot passes endless scenes crammed with the detail and color of life in Cambodia. Your destination here is the local market. Wander among the stalls and perhaps purchase a traditional krama — the colorful headscarf worn by all Khmers. Walk along the river to view Kampot's classic French colonial architecture.
