Your tour begins with a visit to the main plaza of Manzanillo's downtown area. From here, walk through the marketplace to shop for Mexican souvenirs and trinkets not found in large shopping areas.
You will drive past the port of Manzanillo and toward the Peninsula de Santiago for a scenic view.
Spectacular, narrow winding streets and whitewashed homes and resorts overlook the twin bays of Manzanillo.
Continue to the Miramar Flea Market to find stalls heaped with a wide variety of arts and crafts, pottery, clothing, leather goods, onyx, and various other handcrafted goods.
End your outing with time at a local beach — a serene golden strand that may well be the perfect place to catch some sun and work on your tan. An adjacent restaurant is available for local specialties (at your own expense).
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind is allowed), light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Umbrellas and chairs are available on the beach. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
