Walk from the pier to the bicycle base, where you will gear up with a bike and helmet.
Follow your guide on a bike ride through the peaceful Mørkid Valley - the main entrance to Breheimen National Park. Along the way, your guide explains the culture and history of the people of Skjolden, including how they have adapted to survive in this environment. Hear about daily life in the valley and the efficient use of land and animals.
After approximately 4.3 miles (7km) or one hour of cycling, leave your bike and continue on foot to the dramatic Drivande Waterfall. This hike requires negotiating a rocky mountain walking trail. At the clearing in front of the Falls, sit and catch your breath as you take in the pretty view.
A snack of chocolate and cured meats is offered.
Refreshed, you will retrace your hike-and-bike route back to the ship.
