Immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of Spain through the art, rhythm, and emotion of Flamenco. From the pier, travel into Bilbao where you will discover one of the country's most cherished cultural traditions during an engaging and interactive experience.
Begin with a captivating Flamenco performance by talented professional dancers. As dramatic music fills the room, watch as intricate footwork, expressive movements, and powerful storytelling bring this passionate Spanish art form to life. Learn about the history and cultural significance of Flamenco, a tradition recognized as an important symbol of Spanish heritage.
Following the performance, step onto the dance floor for a hands-on Flamenco lesson led by a professional instructor. Learn the fundamentals of this expressive dance, including basic footwork, hand clapping, and rhythmic movements. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, the session offers a fun and memorable opportunity to connect with Spanish culture in an authentic way.
Before returning to your ship, pause for photographs at Bilbao's most recognizable landmark, the striking Guggenheim Museum. Designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, the museum's bold titanium curves provide a dramatic contrast to the timeless traditions of Flamenco and create the perfect backdrop for memorable photos.
This enriching experience combines culture, entertainment, participation, and iconic architecture for an unforgettable introduction to the heart and soul of Spain.
Notes:
