Make the most of your day in Honolulu by upgrading to this small-group outing with a maximum of 24 privileged guests.
At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, view a 23-minute film depicting the events of the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack. Here you’ll also have free time to explore the "Road to War" and "Attack" exhibit galleries which bring to life the sights and sounds of the events leading up to the attack on Oahu and its aftermath. These galleries display personal memorabilia, dramatic photographs, artifacts of the battle, and other exhibits. Kiosks are available to hear history from those who witnessed it.
Don't miss this chance to visit the battleship USS Missouri -- the grand ship also known as the Mighty Mo. This is the very place where the Japanese signed the surrender document that ended World War II in the Pacific. The spot is marked by a memorial star set into the ship's immaculately tended wooden deck.
You will have 1½ hours on your own to wander the decks and passageways of the Mo, with a map to guide you and assist you in interpreting the historic ship's points of interest. This floating museum is a testament to a remarkable piece of American history.
Enjoy a panoramic drive past the highlights of metropolitan Honolulu, including the famous Punchbowl Crater, on your way back to the ship.
Notes:
Please note that the USS Arizona Memorial tickets are not included in this tour. If guests want to visit the USS Arizona Memorial, guests need to purchase tickets in advance on the USS Arizona Memorial official website. Or guests may join the stand-by line onsite at the Visitor Center should they choose to do so.
Please be advised that all purses, handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage and/or any type of bag that exceed the measurement of 1.5" x 2.25" x 5.5," and can conceal an object are NOT PERMITTED inside Pearl Harbor, the Visitor's Center, and especially on the tour bus to ford island to visit the USS Battleship Missouri or any other attractions on site. Security measures are strictly enforced at all visitor destinations on Pearl Harbor. USS Missouri - the USS Missouri is located on ford island, an active military base, and a strict security checkpoint takes place when driving to this location. Guests are required to carry government issued photo identification and no bags are allowed on the vehicle. Tour buses can't pass the security check with any type of bags on the bus. For that reason, we have a very strict no bags policy on any tour going to the Missouri. Guests who show up for the tour with oversized bags will be asked to return the items to their room and may miss the tour as result.
