The newly-opened Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum was designed as a seemingly floating dome structure. Its galleries tell the story of humanity in twelve inspiring chapters. The works on show range from prehistoric artifacts to contemporary works from the museum's own collection. There are also many masterpieces on loan from some of the most renowned French museums.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was a dream project of the UAE's late President, Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan. This 241,000-square-foot structure, built at a cost of more than US$500 million, brilliantly combines resources and materials from all around the world.
From the breakwater, take photos of the iconic skyline of Abu Dhabi.
A leisurely panoramic drive along the tower-lined Corniche brings you back to the port.

Tour does not operate on Mondays. Flash photography is not allowed in the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The dress code for the mosque requires loose, long trousers or a long skirt covering the ankles, and long sleeves covering the wrists. Shorts are not allowed. Tight, fitted, translucent or transparent clothing is not allowed. Women must cover their head with a headscarf; you must bring one with you as these are not provided.
