Leave Piraeus for a panoramic drive by minivan to the heart of Athens. En route, you will pass some of the highlights of Athens, such as the Temple of Olympic Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Traffic permitting, a photo stop will be included.
View the Parliament Building and the most significant buildings dating back to the neo-Classical period -- the University, the National Academy and the Library -- from the comfort of your luxury vehicle.
From a privileged viewpoint, admire the famous Acropolis and its Parthenon from below.
Without question, Lycabettus Hill -- the summit of the city -- offers the most impressive view of Athens from the seaside to the Acropolis. Ride the funicular to reach the viewpoint here and take some time at the top to snap photos of the stunning panorama below.
Relax over a typical cafe frappé or similar refreshment at the exclusive Orizontes Restaurant on the summit; then, return by funicular to sea level and coach to the port of Piraeus.
Notes:
Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
