Enjoy a half-day journey discovering a traditional Japanese shrine and a beautiful garden.

Depart Sasebo Port and your coach for the drive to Mifuneyama Garden located just outside Takeo Onsen in Saga Prefecture. It occupies 37 acres and was designed and built over a period of three years by Shigeyoshi Nabeshima -- the 28th ruler of the Takeo Domain -- as part of his weekend home.

Next, you will visit the Yutoku Inari Shrine. This shrine is one of the three most famous shrines dedicated to Inari. It was built in 1687, upon the request of Kazanin Manko-hime -- the wife of Lord Nabeshima Naotomo, who ruled the domain of Hizen Kashima.

Re-board your comfortable motorcoach and return to the ship.
