EXC In-Depth offers innovative, expert-led, themed adventures. You are invited to dig deep into one or more theme on each tour -- nature and science, arts and culture, food and wine, history and perspective, or photography and active exploration.

Join the Explorations team and set off to explore the scenic coastline of Kangaroo Island. The surrounding waters are often frequented by dolphins, sea lions, whales and other marine life. Nature-lovers take note -- this is a rare opportunity to explore Kangaroo Island and to be right next endemic animals in their natural habitat.

There is no shade on the boat. Local RIB boats will be used instead of the ships zodiacs due to permit restrictions. Temperatures will be high. Dress for warm weather with cooling fabrics that protect your skin from sunburn. Bring bottled water, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent and binoculars. Bring a waterproof jacket and suitable camera protection, as tropical showers can occur, and the boat ride may be wet. Minimum age is 6 years. Tour operates weather permitting. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
