Your excursion begins at the pier in Dover as you board a motorcoach with your luggage and travel by freeway to London's West End. Pass Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square with its imposing Nelson's Column, and the National Art Gallery en route.

The neo-Gothic Parliament Buildings dominate the bank of the River Thames. You'll pass Whitehall on the way to Westminster Abbey with a stop at the historic abbey to take photos of its gorgeous Gothic exterior. The abbey has been the site of coronations and funerals for Britain's Royal Family for a thousand years.

Another iconic English landmark is Buckingham Palace. This has been the official Royal Palace of the British monarch since Queen Victoria took the throne. Official occasions of state and royal events are held here. The palace features the largest private garden in London.

You'll travel to Old-Town London, known as the City, to see the Tower of London. This is where William the Conqueror began construction of London's fortress. Later, it became a royal prison and the site of many a bloody execution.

Watch for the flamboyant Victorian-era Tower Bridge and beautiful St Paul's Cathedral. London's master architect, Sir Christopher Wren, designed this superb church, in the late 17th century. In 1981 it was the venue for the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Your tour ends at London's Gatwick Airport, in time for your flight.

This tour is available only to guests whose cruise ends in Dover, with flights departing London's Gatwick Airport after 5pm.
