Set out with your guide by elegant and comfortable Mercedes Benz vehicle. Your destination is Volterra, and you will travel through panoramic Tuscan countryside to reach it.

Begin your tour of Volterra with the city's ancient Roman theatre. This is among the better-preserved theatres in Europe, and it's easy to imagine the roar of the Roman crowds that gathered here. You'll also visit the medieval Piazza dei Priori, located in the heart of town.

Next, head to an alabaster laboratory to witness firsthand the craftsmanship that goes into each piece and a chance to shop for something special.

A theatre of a different kind awaits you now -- the Teatro del Silenzio amphitheatre in Lajatico. This modern outdoor venue -- built in 2006 by Andrea Bocelli -- hosts the maestro's annual Teatro Del Silenzio concert, held every summer in July or August. A panoramic drive through Lajatico's city center showcases Bocelli's hometown, which he often reaches by horse from his home in the countryside.

You're now headed to the Bocelli Farmhouse, located nearby. Take a guided tour of the Bocelli cellars and vineyards in Poggioncino, adjacent to the farmhouse. Lear about the history and growth of these many acres of grapes.

At the Officine Bocelli Restaurant, members of the Bocelli family will host a private wine-tasting experience for you. Try the various types of wine produced by the family and hear all about the history behind the brand. You'll also have a chance to sample the family's olive oil and honey products.

Visit the museum located on the first floor above the restaurant -- the exhibits are about the life and times of Andrea Bocelli and his many achievements.

Be seated for lunch in the Office Bocelli Restaurant. Your four-course meal includes antipasto, a first course, a second course with a side dish, dessert, wine, coffee and water. Typical Tuscan food is freshly and lovingly prepared to enhance your fabulous day out. There's time afterwards to shop at the boutique located within the restaurant.

Your final stop is at Pisa. At the Piazza dei Miracoli, you will have time to shop or enjoy a gelato at a café (at your own expense), and to admire from the outside the beautiful Baptistery and the world-famous Leaning Tower.

Return to the port of Livorno in time to board your ship.
