Escape the bustling streets of Skagway and set a course for the breathtaking waterfalls and exclusive off-grid dining experience of Burro Creek Lodge -- a 120-acre rustic resort just two miles across the water. Sate all your senses with ethereal scenic beauty and fine foodie tastes of Alaska.

Hop aboard an enclosed, custom-built boat and for a quick transfer across Lynn Canal -- America's longest and deepest fjord. Enjoy a champagne toast welcome and join your guide on a leisurely stroll to a spectacular waterfall. Continue along a wooden footbridge for magnificent panoramas of wild coastline ringed by snow-capped mountains.

Burro Creek Lodge produces its own electricity and has a 35-year history of sustainability. After a demonstration of the hydro turbine generator, you may choose to go on a hike with the onsite naturalist, to join the chef in the kitchen for a wood stove cooking presentation or simply to relax at the seaside campfire.

When the meal bell rings, take a seat with a wine or beer and roll up your sleeves for an Alaskan culinary delight. You’ll enjoy a Dungeness crab and shrimp boil with andouille sausage, corn on the cob and potatoes, all served with melted butter and oven-fired bread.

Cap it all off with a decadent dessert -- a double-chocolate brownie served with assorted fixings and topped with a marshmallow roasted over the campfire.

Explore this one-of-a-kind remote wilderness resort and steep your senses in beauty, food and wine.
