The Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram is the only way to explore the canopy of the transitional tropical rain forest on Costa Rica’s mid-Pacific coastline. Dry upland forest meets humid coastal rain forest with unique species colonizing the treetops and the canopy in this 222-acre eco-tourism park, which is dedicated to conservation.

Attend an introductory video presentation about the Pacific rain forest. Board a gondola designed for eight passengers and a bilingual naturalist guide to glide through a living backdrop of giant trees, hanging gardens, waterfalls and lush green landscapes.

Panoramic ocean views and sightings of wildlife that thrive in the canopy will introduce you to the wonders of the transitional forest. This is also one of the few areas in Costa Rica where you may occasionally see spectacular scarlet macaws majestically soaring above the treetops or sitting in one of the trees.

Your all-inclusive rain forest experience includes a visit to the Serpentarium and to the medicinal plant garden.

Don’t miss the Heliconias Gallery -- an excellent complement to a fascinating walk that takes you past a snake exhibit set in the tropical rain forest. A traditional Costa Rican lunch will round out your experience.
