Ready to take the next step beyond snorkeling, but not sure about scuba diving? Snuba might be just right for you. It’s a combination of snorkeling and scuba diving, and introduces you to the amazing underwater world without the cumbersome equipment necessary for scuba diving. It’s fun and easy. You haven’t experienced the Mayan Caribbean unless you have seen what its underwater world has to offer.

After approximately 15 minutes of instruction, your dive master will take you into shallow water to try out your Snuba skills and build your confidence.

Once you’re ready, proceed out to deeper water (15-18 feet), where you will find schooling fish and brilliant coral formations. Visit lobsters, parrotfish and pairing angelfish in their own habitat.

You will be fascinated by the myriad of brilliant colors that surround you in this incredible underwater world.

Spend approximately 20 to 30 minutes in water during your snuba dive.

Notes:

Minimum age is 8 years. All equipment and transportation are provided. Wear your swimsuit; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat.
