Your adventure begins with a ferry ride from Haines to Skagway, where you will be surrounded by magnificent views of mountains and waterfalls as you cruise through the deepest fjord in North America.

Once in Skagway, you will receive an entertaining town tour and travel up the Klondike Highway.

A short hike over a beautiful nature trail brings you to the base of the spectacular rock face.

Don rock climbing shoes, a helmet and harnesses; then, rope up to climb the clean granite. There are more than a dozen routes from which to choose perfect for all abilities. Each climb ends with a stunning view of the Skagway River, the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad and the surrounding wilderness.

You will also have the chance to try rappelling down the high cliffs.

This adventure is perfect for those looking for a first climbing experience, or for experienced climbers looking for a challenge. None of the climbing is mandatory, and everyone will enjoy the cliff-side snack and stunning views.

Notes:

Minimum age is 6 years. Minimum weight is 50 lbs; maximum weight is 300 lbs or a 52-inch waist. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate. Climbing shoes, helmet and harness are provided. Participants must be able to hike for a few minutes over uneven terrain. Dress in warm, layered clothing that allows for good flexibility.
