Calling all beginners -- come SCUBA diving in warm and amazingly clear, shallow water. An outstanding opportunity for newcomers to make their first dive, this tour is specifically designed for non-certified people who want to discover scuba.

A team of PADI instructors takes you step by step through an introductory course. After approximately 45 minutes of underwater instruction and orientation, gear up in full scuba equipment and enter the water directly from the beach.

The student-to-instructor ratio is 4 to 1, allowing the instructor to give you plenty of attention throughout the entire course and dive. The instructor is with as you explore the world of fish and coral in a riot of shapes and colors.

Notes:

The dive reaches a maximum depth of 25 feet. The diving equipment is selected carefully by the instructor to ensure optimal fit and comfort. Minimum age is 10 years. Equipment and transportation are provided. Wear your swimsuit; bring a towel. Waiver release form must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. You must fill out a medical questionnaire, which will be reviewed by the tour operator. Whether or not the operator allows you to participate will depend upon the information provided. To avoid possible disappointment, you may wish to review the medical requirements for diving in advance, so that you can ask your physician about clearing any medical issues in writing. Samples of typical medical questionnaires can be found on the websites of the major dive associations, such as PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) and NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors).
