Tayrona National Park is located on the Atlantic coast, northeast of the historic city of Santa Marta. Home to numerous species of animals, birds, reptiles and vestiges of native Tayrona culture, the landscape features lush vegetation and enormous white rock formations that break the waves of the Caribbean Sea. Walk with your guide along a short nature trail as you hear about the flora, fauna and culture en route to see one of the park's stunning beaches.

Continue to the Mirador Ecohabs Resort to enjoy refreshments in a beautiful tropical setting. Some free time is yours to enjoy at the natural 'swimming pool', where you can swim and relax among the local people. Small lizards and birds are commonly seen here.

After asking in the tranquil beauty of the park, it's time to head back to the ship.

Notes:

This option does not include lunch or guided access to the beach. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
