Explore Tahiti's beauty from above and below sea level during this relaxing sailing and snorkeling excursion aboard a 43-foot sailing catamaran. Depart right from the Papeete promenade and head along the Tahiti's island coastline. Weather permitting, your skipper will set sail, and you'll enjoy the breeze of the South Seas -- an easy tour for those who just want to sit back and relax. Back inside the lagoon, the captain will drop anchor in the clear blue waters. You are welcome to hop overboard for a swim and snorkel in the warm, inviting lagoon. This particular area features very little coral. Explore the cockpit area or bask in the nets of this comfortable boat.

Notes:

There will be an approximately 400-yard walk to reach the boat. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. The focus of this tour is sailing; the coral formation is limited to the snorkeling area. This is a casual sail with limited narration from the guide. Itinerary and stops are weather permitting. Guests should know how to swim, be comfortable wearing snorkel equipment and being in deep water, and be able to cope with occasional currents. You may remain on the boat, but viewing will be limited. Depth of water is not guaranteed due to currents and sea level variation. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. For your own safety and to help preserve the environment, when snorkeling, do not touch or step on coral. Participants must be physically fit to negotiate a high step to get into and out of the boat. You must remove your shoes when boarding the vessel. Wear comfortable attire and walking, hiking or water shoes as appropriate. Wear sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring sunglasses and bottled water. Expensive jewelry or clothing should not be worn on tour.
