It’s a short ride to the land base where you will meet your team of guides and listen to a safety briefing and orientation on southern stingrays and their habits.

Hop aboard an island skiff for the short ride to Stingray City at Barge Reef. Hosts of friendly southern stingrays are waiting to greet you. Stingrays are mistakenly thought to be dangerous animals, yet they are truly friendly and inquisitive. You will feel completely safe in the water touching and feeding them and your guide is always close by to offer assistance. Stingray City also has wonderful water for snorkeling and explore the area's coral reefs, which teem with brightly colored fish.

At the completion of your day, return to the land base where freshwater showers are available and a gift shop sells souvenirs and photographs taken during your visit.

Wear your swimsuit under your clothes and bring a towel from the ship.
