Approximately 3½ hours
Experience the otherworldly undersea environment through a Sea Trek Helmet Dive.
Enjoy a scenic ride from your ship to Coral World Ocean Park, where friendly and knowledgeable staff members will help you suit up with water shoes, gloves, and your Sea Trek helmet, which keeps your face and hair dry while it provides air, weight and stability.
Experience a diver's view of fish and corals, but this adventure requires no swimming or diving experience; merely walking and breathing. Your guide will lead groups of no more than ten along an underwater trail marked with a handrail, 18-20 feet below the surface. You'll feel like you're moonwalking underwater as you trek around coral reefs and see their abundant marine life up close.
When you re-surface, continue your adventure at Coral World Ocean Park, where you will have about 90 minutes to explore. See an amazing array of sea creatures in the Caribbean Reef Encounter.
The Marine Gardens' jewel-like aquariums bring you eye-to-eye with the ocean's most interesting fauna and flora. Juvenile sharks make their home in the Shark Shallows while larger sharks and other predators are on display at the middle level of the Undersea Observatory. Interactive time awaits at the Touch Pool with sea stars and sea cucumbers.
Visit the Lorikeet Garden and purchase a cup of nectar to feed these playful and colorful birds. Shop at the gift boutiques or relax at the Shark Bar for a snack.
Guests who wish to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
A storage box will be available for your belongings during your time underwater. Minimum age is 8 years. Minimum weight is 80 lbs. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Pregnant women or guests with a heart condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed.
