On driving through the city of Castries, you will see the vibrant traditional market, our more than a century old Basilica of French architecture and Derek Walcott square, named after one of the island’s Nobel Laureate. Take in the panoramic view of the island Capital city and its beautiful hinterlands from Morne Fortune. Weave through a dramatic ridge that creates an amazing separation of the bustling city from the rich vegetation of the banana plantations and the lush mountains that wraps around it creating a true spectacle.

A short way off is the Bagshaws Art Studio for a live silkscreen demonstration. Travel through the quaint rural communities and adore the ways of the people before dramatic descend into the Rodney Bay Village to observe the vibrancy and urban scenes of this Northern coast of the island. Your guide will point out the modern homes, resorts and world class yachting marina. A brief stop at Pigeon Island for photos of the spectacular coastline of the island and the neighboring French island of Martinique on the horizon is unbelievably beautiful.
