This tour offers a comprehensive orientation tour of Port Vila, including many points of scenic, cultural and historical interest.

Your first stop is at Pango Village. Here you can see a snapshot of how modern-day Ni-Vanuatu villagers live. Visit the Chief's nakamal (meeting house) where you will hear a brief history of the area and obtain a fascinating insight into the island lifestyle.

Take a short walk to the village square, where your guide will provide a brief narration about the introduction of Christianity and the perhaps not unrelated end of cannibalism in the area.

Enjoy a cultural performance by the fierce warriors of Pango Village, followed by your chance to sample fresh tropical fruit and browse at Mama’s Art & Craft Market for local crafts and souvenirs.

Re-boarding your coach, you will enjoy a guided tour around the town. Skirt the scenic waterfront, taking the Lini Highway into the harborside area. Drive past the new Parliament House, local markets, the compact shopping area and the former French Quarter. View the distinctive landmarks and learn about modern day life in the Republic of Vanuatu.
