Approximately 5 Hours
Visit the only remaining Carib Native territory in the world and the beautiful, secluded Hibiscus Falls.
Your adventure begins with an approximately 40-minute drive from the pier through the rain forest. Leave the coach and stroll to a view point of the falls or walk the optional steps to the waterfall pool where you can take a swim in the refreshing water.
Continue on to the Native-built Eco Village where you will enjoy a flavorful lunch buffet of local fare while the Carib Natives entertain you with their folkloric dances. Your Native Carib guide will introduce you to the history and culture of his people, who inhabited the Caribbean long before the arrival of Christopher Columbus. After the presentation, you will have the chance to relax by the natural pool of the Pagua River that runs along the Eco Village. You can also take a look at how the Caribs make their award-winning crafts.
Back on the coach, enjoy a scenic drive through the Carib Reserve as you head towards Horseback Ridge to take photos of the beautiful valleys and mountains. Your final stop will be at the Botanic Gardens where you will see the endangered Jaco and Sisserou parrots before heading back to your ship.
Wear your swimsuit for river and waterfall swimming. Wear hiking shoes as the path can be muddy when it has rained.
