Experience the beauty and history of Bonaire on a trolley train tour that takes you through the capital -- Kralendijk. This is a fun way to see the main sights.

Photograph directly from the train as it moves slowly enough for you to capture many beautiful images.

You’ll head to Nikiboko -- a typical residential neighborhood with picturesque homes built during the 1800 and 1900s.

Watch for the island’s largest church -- San Bernardo Church (1829). Religion is an integral part of life of many Bonaire residents, as well as a strong part of the cultural history of Bonaire.

Continue through town, where traditional and modern architecture stand side by side in a kaleidoscope of vibrant Caribbean colors.

The waterfront street offers stunning views of the bay dotted with visiting sailboats, yachts and your cruise ship.

Wind down your tour on the lively Kaya Grandi shopping street, with a stroll through the handicraft market, among street stalls and in the local boutiques.

Notice the various architectural styles from the late 1800s and 1900s, including the typical merchants’ homes located upstairs with their business below on the ground floor.

Many of the gift shops carry locally made items that could be your perfect Bonaire souvenir -- paintings, prints, painted fish and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.
