On a panoramic drive along the West Bay Peninsula, your guide offers a brief history of the Cayman Islands. (S)he will point out all the interesting sights, including the world-class hotels and condos that line Seven Mile Beach. This is indisputably one of the world's most spectacular beaches. You will stop outside the Governor's residence and have a great view down Seven Mile Beach.

Then, continue into West Bay for an outside view of the Old Homestead. This is an authentic piece of Cayman history -- a true Caribbean gingerbread house.

You're not imagining it if it feels like your day is going to Hell. View the Caymans' most interesting limestone rock formations from a viewing platform, and learn a few possible explanations for how this quite beautiful place earned its unforgettable (and not entirely pleasant) name. The silver lining? Mailing postcards to friends and family with a very, very distinctive postmark.

Your next stop is at Royal Palms Beach -- part of Seven Mile Beach. Three hours here to relax on the sand will make you think you've gone to… heaven. A full bar and à-la carte restaurant is available at your own expense.

Rental equipment from snorkel gear to jet skis (at your own expense) is also available.

When it's time to return to your ship, the motorcoach will collect you.

Notes:

Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat.
