Discover the wondrous cenotes or cave pools beneath the Yucatan peninsula -- its limestone caverns and rivers are truly amazing. This area has been awarded the title of 'Mexico & Central America’s Leading Nature Reserve'.

Meet your guide at the pier and tender by ferry to Playa del Carmen. From there, a drive of about 30 minutes brings you to the Rio Secreto -- or Secret River -- where your expert guide will provide the necessary equipment for your adventure. This outing features in Nat Geo's Top 10 Family Activities and is EarthCheck Silver-certified for its sustainable tourism practices.

Navigate the caverns, both on foot and by swimming in its crystal clear fresh water, marveling at the magical subterranean world that has been unexplored until now. This protected National Reserve is filled with astounding stalactites, stalagmites and other natural formations.

Afterwards, enjoy a delicious snack and beverage and some free time in Playa del Carmen before boarding the ferry for the ride back to the ship.
