A sumptuous Jamaican meal awaits you at the Good Hope Great House. The menu was designed and created by Tammy Hart -- an experienced chef in her own right. She worked as Al Pacino's personal chef before returning home to Jamaica.
Your informative guide will educate you on historical Falmouth while you drive through the town en route to Good Hope Estate. The Good Hope Great House was built in the 1700s and restored to its original grandeur.
See the 2,000 acres that once constituted a working plantation and stroll through the grounds of the estate. You may even see the resident potter and have the opportunity to purchase gifts from the Trading House -- the only store of its kind in the Caribbean.
Relax in splendor at the Great House and indulge in a tasty buffet lunch. The menu includes crisp salad, herb rice and true Jamaican dishes highlighting distinctive spices, such as curried chicken with mango chutney, escovietch fish made with a fresh local catch and fried plantain -- a true Jamaican favorite.
To finish off, sample the sweet tastes of coconut drops and banana muffins that use fruits from in and around the estate.
