Take a shuttle to Faua Wharf to board a motor launch for the approximately six-mile cruise to Fafa Island. Enjoy the views of Tongatapu and Nuku'alofa en route.

One of Tongatapu's offshore resorts, Fafa Island Resort is a 17-acre South Sea paradise with bungalows, a white-sand beach and excellent facilities. It is a miniature South Pacific atoll.

Enjoy free time to relax on the sand or swim in the crystalline lagoon.

Lunch is provided in the resort's restaurant overlooking the beach.


Snorkel gear is not provided but is available for rent at the island orbring your own snorkel gear. Bring local currency, as many vendors do not accept credit cards or US dollars. Transportation is by basic island bus with no air-conditioning or PA system. Restroom facilities are limited and very basic. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen and a hat. Wear sunglasses and comfortable walking shoes. Bring insect repellent. Tour does not operate on Sundays.
