Belfast has endured a long and often-turbulent history. This excursion will acquaint you with the landmarks involved in the city's colorful development, from great industrial triumphs to the civil unrest that once tarnished Belfast's image. This introduction to the city reflects the drive, determination and pride that Belfast undoubtedly has in its wealth of skill and talent.

You will see many well-known landmarks, including City Hall, Queens University, the Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens and the Albert Clock.

Your guide will point out the political wall murals located on the Protestant Shankill Road and the Catholic Falls Road. These are a unique cultural icon indeed. Take photographs here; then, stop at one of Belfast's famous pubs and pay homage to the art of Irish drinking. Belfast is a lively city and its pubs are both historical and friendly.

Enjoy a cool beverage before rejoining the motor coach and guide for your return journey to Belfast Port and the ship.
