Revisit key historic moments from World War II -- from Japan's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor to its surrender aboard the battleship USS Missouri -- on this full-day tour that pays homage to Hawaii's central role in the events that were to shape America's history.

At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, an introductory video presentation highlights the events leading up to the Pearl Harbor attack, as well as actual footage filmed in 1941.

Board a US Navy shuttle for harbor tour of Battleship Row and around the magnificent USS Arizona Memorial -- a striking, 184-foot-long structure that rests above the sunken battleship. This is a solemn reminder of the 1,177 crewmen who lost their lives here (75 were recovered, 1,102 remain entombed within the Arizona).

Continue your travels to Ford Island and climb aboard the USS Missouri battleship -- the Mighty Mo. Explore beneath the deck to see what it took for this grand ship to operate her massive gun turrets, and imagine the moment when the Japanese signed the surrender documents ending the war.

Return to the ship at the end of your tour.

In the unlikely event that the harbor cruise around the Arizona Memorial is cancelled due to exogenous factors (including inclement weather, rains, high winds, water debris and/or Navy cancellation), additional time will be offered for visiting many of the Arizona exhibits and visitor center. The National Park Service has closed the Arizona Memorial indefinitely for repairs. During this period, the Navy tenders' ability to dock at the USS Arizona Memorial has been suspended. Participants will still enjoy a comprehensive experience at Pearl Harbor with the wealth of attractions available at this iconic site. When repairs are completed and docking resumes, this tour will include a visit to the Arizona Memorial. Due to increased security measures, the following items are prohibited, along with any other items that allow concealment: backpacks, diaper bags, fanny packs, camera bags, purses, luggage, shopping bags, and large cameras. Baggage storage will be available at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center for a nominal fee. There may be a delay at Pearl Harbor as timed entrance tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. While waiting, you can visit the exhibition center, view the interpretive displays depicting the attack, or purchase a light refreshment from the café (at your own expense). Modest attire is required for the cruise around USS Arizona memorial; sandals are permitted, but short shorts, tank tops, swimsuits, clothing with inappropriate slogans, etc., are not allowed.
