One of the world’s great landmarks is the 125-foot-tall statue of Christ the Redeemer at the top of Rio’s Corcovado Mountain. This tour takes you to the monument for a 360° view of the city and its harbor. Board a cogwheel railway to climb the 2,400 feet to the top.

Descend to the Cosme Velho neighborhood and head to Sugar Loaf Mountain. The scenic drive takes you along Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon beaches.

Ascend Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car for a breathtaking view of Corcovado, the beaches, the Rio de Janeiro-Niteroi Bridge and the city of Niteroi across the bay.

On Sugar Loaf, hop into a helicopter for a spectacular flight over the beautiful, sweeping beaches of Rio – Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon

Notes:

There may be a wait for the helicopter, depending upon the size of the group. The helicopter capacity is 4 - 6 people, depending on the aircraft used. Guest placement in the helicopter is determined solely by the helicopter company for weight and balance purposes. This is a safety matter that is not negotiable. You may not be able to sit next to your traveling companion(s) for this reason, and your cooperation is required.  Ascending Sugarloaf Mountain is optional. Expect long lines at the attractions and at the Corcovado tram station. During Carnival this tour may operate differently; please expect heavy traffic congestion and delays. No guarantee is offered with regard to visibility or views on any particular day, as climatic and atmospheric conditions vary and are beyond the tour operator’s control. Escalators and elevators are available to reach the statue of Christ, or you can climb the 220 steps instead. Whichever option you choose, there will still be walking required and steps to climb, as well as cobblestones and uneven surfaces and some standing for extended periods of time. Minimum age is 12 years. Tour does not operate on holidays.
