Information not currently available.
Approximately 3 Hours
New, cool and fun, the Segway is the legendary self-balancing personal transportation device that is oddly intuitive and super-fun to ride. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to operate on this extraordinary experience of gliding through Lahaina town by Segway, with a group of fewer than 12 like-minded travelers.
Listen to an introduction and safety orientation, followed by one-to-one fun training. Once you are confident with your eco-friendly, battery-powered Segway, you'll set out to explore and experience historic Lahaina and its highlights.
Lahaina boasts major historical significance--it was the first capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii, as well as a busy whaling port and a plantation settlement. See and hear about a fascinating blend of influences covering Hawaiian history, the whaling era, the missionaries and immigrant plantation life.
Head off the beaten track to see some hidden gems, including the Jodo Mission, which highlights the influence of Chinese and Japanese immigrants on Maui and houses a 12-foot-tall copper and bronze statue of Amida Buddha -- the largest of its kind outside Japan.
