This family-friendly, four-hour kayaking excursion begins at Playa Parana Beach.

Learn how to properly handle your kayak and listen to a short safety briefing; then, set out with your guide and paddle towards the Punta Loma Nature Reserve.

Home to about 600 sea lions, this unique vantage point lets you soak up the sun, the breeze and the spectacular views of the rocky cliffs that plunge down to pebble-laden beaches. Sea lions may be basking or waddling about on the shore, or diving into and out of the water. Keep an eye out also for rock cormorants, kelp gulls, South American terns and oystercatchers -- the latter are easily recognized by their long, bright-red bills.

After you to return to shore, relax and share the highlights of your adventure with fellow kayakers, as you linger over a tasty snack before riding back to the ship.

It is essential that you wear warm, layered clothing in order to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion. Outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. Bring gloves, a warm hat and a scarf.
