Information not currently available.
Approximately 5½ hours
Your tour begins at the port where you will board air-conditioned transportation bound for the colonial city of Léon. Along the way, your guide will point out areas of interest and will provide information on Nicaragua’s colorful history.
Once in Léon you will visit city landmarks such as Central America’s largest cathedral, the House-Museum of Ruben Darío, and the Ortiz Gurdian Gallery.
Make the most of a chance to shop for local crafts. A short drive brings you to the Hotel El Convento -- a true jewel of colonial architecture. Enjoy a folkloric performance here, followed by a traditional Nicaraguan dish, called Caballo Bayo, for lunch. It consists of chicken, beef, pork, bananas, tortillas, beans, and salads.
After your meal, you will return to the port.
